Este es un homenaje a las madres pioneras y miembros de la comunidad que identificaron una gran necesidad cuando muy poca información y recursos estaban disponibles en español.

Recognition presented to Congreso Familiar for its many years of service and support to the Spanish-speaking community of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

This recognition honors the pioneering mothers and community members who identified a tremendous need at a time when very little information and few resources were available in Spanish.

With courage, perseverance, and unwavering commitment, they broke down barriers, shared knowledge, and advocated for change so that families could access the information and supports they deserved. Because of their efforts, spaces like Congreso Familiar and events that bring our community together to learn, connect, and grow are possible today.

We celebrate this recognition with deep gratitude and renew our commitment to building upon the legacy of those who paved the way for future generations.
